DAY ONE MILITARY DIET

Yay yay yay! 

I have completed day one of the diet!

I have eaten-

Breakfast:  

This is one piece of wholemeal toast with two WHOLE tablespoons (30g) of peanut butter. Wow. That was a lot of peanut butter, way more than I would normally have eaten but still I enjoyed it, it felt like a treat to be honest ha. There is a caffeinated black tea with it. What is not included in this diet is the grapefruit that I was supposed to eat. I didn’t have any grapefruit in the house, unfortunately, so the substitution was for a half teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in water. I drank this and it was foul. However, it is supposed to kick start your metabolism or fat burning process in the liver! 

Lunch:

 

Lunch was delish, but very little as you can see. This was all I ate. Usually I finish off with some other vegetables like cucumber and cherry tomatoes and I did actually crave them! However I stuck to my guns. So here, I drank one caffeinated tea again. I ate one piece of wholemeal toast with a can of tuna. I did season the tuna with salt and pepper which I don’t normally do, I would put a sauce on it but I didn’t. 

Tea:

 

Here is my dinner. They told us to eat a deck of cards sized piece of meat (85g) and a cup of green beans. I didn’t have either of these and so I ate 3 slices of ham, 1 slice of pastrami, a lot of lettuce and cucumber which came to about 31 calories which is the amount the green beans would have come to. On top of that I ate:

 

I ate half a banana and an apple. Also I was allowed to eat a whole cup of vanilla ice cream which I substituted for 187g of Greek yogurt with 30g fruit jam which was probably a lot less calories. 

I don’t feel hungry at the moment. I drank nine cups of tea/water throughout the day plus a Vitamin C tablet which was 10 calories.

I did work out my calories just to see how many it was- 964! That’s so so low. I didn’t do any exercise today and I did feel a bit dizzy at times but I just had to drink some water and I was fine!

So that’s the end of day one.

You may wonder what sparked my decision to do this diet. Well. Apparently I weigh 11 stone 0.4 lbs. I cried. I know I have been binging lately but I didn’t deserve to be that weight. Anyway with the wedding approaching it has frightened me into dieting hardcore style.

Day 5 of 2015- 35 days of 1200 calories

Hello friends! It has been a while (as usual- I’m sorry blah blah, the usual). I’m really happy to welcome a lot new followers though! Welcome lovelies! I hope you like my blog and so now I’ve got a lot more of you, I feel obliged to post more so here we go :). Maybe a new resolution of mine to blog more? Even though I haven’t been actually blogging I have been taking a lot of pictures of my food because I think it looks very healthy and healthy = beautiful. Doesn’t it?

I have some new lovelies! I’m going to New York in February! Can you believe it? I’ve never even been to America so how incredible is that? NEW YORK CITYYYYYYY. The amount of money I’m planning on spending is surreal but before the trip, I need to lose this christmas weight and some additional if I can. I am here with a new motive and I’m going to TRY and maintain this diet regardless of mum keeping on saying ‘I don’t think you’re eating enough to maintain someone of your age’. Ha. Am I dead? No. Then I’m doing just fine. My issue is that it is the holiday still for me and I am LAZY. I can’t seem to find motivation to get up and exercise so I am just super restricting my food intake.

I do have some more good news, I went to our New Years Eve family party as I always do and I was the thinnest I have been in years. Hey, maybe I’ll do a before and after picture- Here we go:

Actually looking at these pictures from the 31st December 2014, I haven’t done that well but considering I only changed my lifestyle in September 2014, that was a continued 8 months of being unhealthy. I am sorry that there are no face shots but I’m not comfortable with disclosing who I am just yet. If you knew who I am it is pretty obvious from the pictures and the smile you can see if the first picture above.

Anyway I weighed myself at the party here and baring in mind I had just eaten A LOT of party food but no alcohol, I was 10stone 12. Yes I’m sorry guys but that means I’ve put on a hefty 8lbs from my lowest weight of 10st 4 but don’t worry I’m back on track, weighing 10st 8 now.

Perfect blog picture there on the right and yes, we are drunk ;). I’m a student, forgive me? But I don’t know about you but I think I have lost weight visibly. Oh well a lot more to go.

Anyway enough pictures of me and more pictures of MY FOOD. I have been eating super healthy and I’m feeling the fat slowly melting away as my stomach grumbles (or so I like to think!)

This is one slice of brown bread with 15g of nutella and a small banana. 243kcal. I think the idea is small amounts of whatever it is you want, and I didn’t exactly scrimp on the nutella. It is a lot of calories just for 15g though- 81!

Lunches:

Just no/low carbohydrates! This is Piri piri chicken chunks with lettuce leaves, cucumber, cooked beetroot and Pizza Express Basil pesto salad dressing. 194kcal.IMG_3336One of my favourites if I want a hot lunch! Fish fingers (x3), please ignore the serving suggestion of 4 on the box it is an absolute joke. Who can fit that in a single sandwich, let alone eat them all? Ridiculous! Just shows the changes happening in our world. Of course Birdseye want you to eat 4 so that you have to buy more quicker! A JOKE. Don’t fall for these scamming companies. They look delicious on the plate and look like loads! It takes me a while to eat too as I savour every bite. Peanut butter on rice cakes. Be careful with the peanut butter though as this tiny amount was something ridiculous like 93 calories!! Peanut butter on two rice cakes, cucumber, cooked beetroot, cherry tomatoes and one slice of beef pastrami (there was none left). 229kcal.

Do you want to guess how many calories it was? I’m serious, I weighed it and everything. 170… I’m not kidding. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY CALORIES FOR THE TINIEST BIT OF FRUIT CAKE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE AND WHO CAN HONESTLY SAY THIS IS THE PORTION SIZE THEY GO FOR WHEN THEY EAT CAKE? It wasn’t even worth it because I was ABSOLUTELY STARVING come bedtime because of this stupid cake that I could have used this calories so much more wisely. I will not make the same mistake again.

Teas:

There were six meatballs made with soya (Tesco) and half a packet of the Vegetable risotto also made by Tesco which was bought frozen. There was a tiny bit of a spicy tomato sauce under the meatballs too. It was delicious. I might try vegetarianism! 396kcal.

If you want an example of what my days have been like recently, here you go! I did well today and it had to be 1,146kcal because I went over by 54 yesterday at 1254 calories but I managed to keep under it today and make up for that. I do it so precise, I will not enjoy the day when I make a mistake. It is becoming a bit of an obsession, myfitnesspal is telling me that I have logged in for 137 days in a row which means, yes, I calculated ALL of my days over the christmas period and new years. So, I can tell you that on Christmas day as a rough over-estimate, I ate 4000calories. I know, a nightmare but I was looking up the average intake for someone on Christmas Day and it was 6000 calories. I don’t know HOW (if they do) people manage that. I felt absolutely disgusting on 4000, let alone more. I will maybe show you what I ate but also, maybe now. I can tell you, however, that I ate basically 800 calories worth of stuffing, so vegetarianism? Maybeeeeee not.

I just thought I would show you guys this. The girl on the left has a body CREEPILY similar to mine and the body on the right is pretty much my dream body. That thigh gap… She did lose all of her boobs though, so maybe the middle weight is the best. I’d certainly be happy with it.

End of Day Ninety-two (If I’d been carrying on daily blogging)

This is my first update in months everyone, and I’m sorry for that but my life is just too busy to keep daily blogging but don’t worry- I break up for christmas soon and my blog will be back up and running with blogs most days, including my daily intake on CHRISTMAS DAY. That will be my motivation for not eating much- the fact it will ALL be blogged on here for you lovelies to see.

 

As you can see from the scales above- my weight is still going down. This is the lowest it’s been and I’m delighted but am still not satisfied. I only stick to 1200 calories a day when I’m working so 4 days a week but when I spend days at home I eat ridiculous amounts. My lifestyle has changed rapidly though- when I go out to eat, I never use it as an excuse to eat anymore. Last night I went to Nandos (not pizza hut or mcdonald’s) and ate butterfly chicken with macho peas, followed by toffee apple frozen yogurt- this came in at 650calories which was quite a lot but compared to what I would’ve eaten had I gone elsewhere, was so good. I didn’t even get chips? IMG_2764.JPGHere is my lunch today- homemade soup and the crackers have coronation tuna and cucumber slices on. It was delicious. I wanted it to be quite light as I am off out bridesmaid dress shopping now so au revoir xox

Here is my final update for a while. Enjoy.

Breakfast: salt crackers 74kcal.

Total: 74kcal.

Lunch: 10 raspberries, 1 jaffa cake, 1 corn on the cob.

Total: 253kcal.

Tea: pork meatballs, mash potato, carrots, natural yogurt, raspberrys, blueberrys, digestive biscuit, cake icing.

Total: 833kcal. SO BAD.

Overall: +1,160 due to no exercise.

End of Day Eight

Hi there, this is my update for today (06/09/14), I was shopping today so burnt calories walking around but I was also hanging so ate way way waaaaay too much and am quite annoyed but oh well, there’s always tomorrow.

Breakfast: (I ATE BROWN TOAST FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS AND BUTTER! I was hungover so needed it, I didn’t manage to eat the whole piece though as I felt so sick). 1 piece of brown bed 110kcal, butter 11kcal, tea with 2 sugars (no milk) 50kcal.

Total: 171kcal.

Lunch: Salt and black pepper cracker 21kcal, barbeque chicken sandwich from costa 390kcal, costa lemon drizzle 374kcal.

Total: 785kcal.

Tea: crispy chicken 210kcal, noodles 310kcal, tomato 12kcal, cucumber 8kcal.

Total: 540kcal.

Snack: 1 mint 10kcal.

Total: 10kcal.

So my overall intake is 1,506kcal which to be honest will also make me lose weight as online it says I should be eating 1,700kcal which is a complete lie.

Sorry for the late update, please see a previous post for reasons. I will try and get some scheduled for you lovely lot.

Here is my update for yesterday (05/09/14), it was bad and I didn’t write it in but I drunk a lot of alcohol and got extremely drunk and unfortunately I didn’t record how much I drunk but it meant I definitely went over my allowance- the problem of uni.

Breakfast: 2x mints 20kcal.

Total: 20kcal.

Lunch: Plum 30kcal, gala apple 52kcal, frozen sweetcorn 92kcal, fish fingers 150kcal, frozen mixed fruit 180kcal.

Total: 504kcal.

Tea: Tesco bean burger 225kcal, ketchup 21kcal, cucumber 8kcal, tomato 24kcal, red pepper 16kcal.

Total: 294kcal.

Dessert: 0kcal.

When I first began this blog a week ago, I decided that I wasn’t going to talk about this part of my motivation on it, but due to the fact I want to be honest with all of you and discuss all aspects of my motivation with the world, so that you too can get motivated and get those bodies that you have ALWAYS wanted, I am going to.

I was dating someone for a while and we made it exclusive. He’d recently come out of a long term relationship and being aware of this, I made sure that he was going to be honest about contact with his ex and that he was ready for a new relationship. He persuaded me and convinced me that he was ready and even told me he loved me?? I should have realised that he said ALL of it to just get into my pants and it worked. I have never been so frustrated and annoyed at myself when he called it off on the day I returned home from uni. But what could I do? What’s done is done and I can’t do anything now. Or can I?

That’s where my motivation comes in. Although he told me his reasons for calling it off, I can’t help but wonder if I did something wrong. I don’t think I did but I guess I’ll never know. This picture with a quote sums up some of my motivation. I can’t say he treated me wrongly exactly but he did hurt me and I want him to regret it! To regret it as much as I regret having sex with him.

Back at university today everyone! Moved into my new house and it is amazing.

I don’t have wifi at the moment and I don’t know when I will be next able to post but I will post this when I do even though it may no longer be the 04/09/14. I didn’t realise how much I rely on this blogging until I couldn’t do it and so I will be trying my best to continue posting and continue with my motivation.

Today was a pretty good day! I was super busy and even fit in my exercise.

So here is my daily update for 04/09/14:

Breakfast: 1 trebor mint 10kcal.

Total: 10kcal.

Lunch: 3x fish fingers 162kcal, ketchup 21kcal, 1x Jaffa cake 46kcal.

Total: 229kcal.

Tea: REALLY BAD WENT TO AN ALL YOU CAN EAT CHINESE BUFFET BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY £6.99!! I have estimated what I had and the total is around 756kcal which isn’t too bad.

Total: 756kcal

Dessert: 0kcal

Total: 0kcal.

Snacks: blueberrys 34kcal, nectarine 70kcal, strawberry and banana smoothie 65kcal, green tea 0kcal.

Total: 170kcal.

Exercise: overall 5km burnt 301kcals.

Overall input for today is: 1,165 food- 301 exercise= 864kcal which is good!
Even if the Chinese was more than that it wouldn’t be 400 more and so I would still be okay- yay.
