Guys weigh in day is here! I’m 10 st 8.6lbs! So I lost a total of 5.7lbs! I am so so happy and now am going to continue the week on 1200 calories and see where it gets me the wedding.

Wow I didn’t think that this diet would actually work but it really did. I didn’t lose 10lbs but it’s not the end of the week yet. Yay I’m just going to keep going!

MILITARY DIET DAY THREE

YAY. I have officially finished the diet and am now in bed so there will be no more eating. I’m not even hungry, how good is that? ☺️

I cannot wait for my porridge tomorrow morning though and my salad at lunch time 😄. How sad?

One error I made with the diet is that I’ve actually under eaten for the first two days according to the full calorie intake guidelines on the website- oops! I ate the full 1,100 today though and didn’t even eat that added banana that I ate yesterday instead so I officially did it! I’m delighted now PLEASE can the results reflect my hard work? I do feel a bit thinner but definitely not 10 pounds thinner. I’m going to eat between 1200-1400 calories for the rest of the week so hopefully that will help me.

Here is what I ate today.

Breakfast:

 

One Apple, three water crackers with 25g Davidstow cheddar cheese. Delicious but so so small and not as nice as my porridge.

Lunch:

  

I couldn’t eat the egg today, it was just too disgusting yesterday so instead I had 225ml of semi-skimmed milk and a single slice of toast. It was hell. I wanted more food so bad but I resisted by having a nap and a glass of  vitamin c effervescent. 

Tea:

 

Two tins of tuna seasoned with salt and pepper. Filled me up so much but was so boring when my family were eating vegetarian quorn enchiladas! The smell destroyed me but oh well.

Dessert:

 

I was hungry so has eaten most of it by the time I remembered to take a photo, sorry! Greek yogurt with jam.

That’s all! I’m delighted. PLEASE PLEASE CAN I HAVE LOST AT LEAST 5 LBS! Weigh in tomorrow AM.

MILITARY DIET DAY TWO

Well I finished the second day yesterday and it was terrible. I NEARLY broke it by eating an apple. In fairness, I did sort of break it but not really. They were quite subjective about the two hot dogs I could eat yesterday so I ate two veggie sausages for dinner then at around 7pm I ate two slices of ham and two of pastrami. I also ate the other half of the banana which I am supposed to eat today instead so I’m just going to skip that today.

What is making everything a lot worse is that I have a cold. I went to bed at 2030 last night and slept for 11 or so hours just to try to get rid of it. It hasn’t worked it is worse than ever, I am definitely having a nap today.

Anyway this is what I ate:

Breakfast

 

The diet called for an egg but I really really don’t like eggs at all so I had two tiny pieces of bacon which is a fair substitute apparently. Along with a slice of wholemeal toast and half a banana.

Lunch:

 

By far the most disgusting lunch I have ever eaten in my life. I forced myself to eat a hard boiled egg and to try to cover the flavour I added some soy sauce. I wouldn’t have eaten it otherwise. I also had chilli flavoured cottage cheese which was also completely foul tasting. I was glad when it was over. 

Dinner:

 

Was delicious! I often eat this anyway.

Dessert

 

I think the fact I am not eating ice cream is making this diet harder for me. Greek yogurt even with the jam I add is a lot less calorie  then if I had vanilla ice cream! 

It’s funny I am noticing that I am craving just normal food so much like my porridge in the morning and cherry tomatoes at lunch. I can’t wait to have a normal dinner with my family too!

Bring on today, I’m already starving!

DAY ONE MILITARY DIET

Yay yay yay! 

I have completed day one of the diet!

I have eaten-

Breakfast:  

This is one piece of wholemeal toast with two WHOLE tablespoons (30g) of peanut butter. Wow. That was a lot of peanut butter, way more than I would normally have eaten but still I enjoyed it, it felt like a treat to be honest ha. There is a caffeinated black tea with it. What is not included in this diet is the grapefruit that I was supposed to eat. I didn’t have any grapefruit in the house, unfortunately, so the substitution was for a half teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in water. I drank this and it was foul. However, it is supposed to kick start your metabolism or fat burning process in the liver! 

Lunch:

 

Lunch was delish, but very little as you can see. This was all I ate. Usually I finish off with some other vegetables like cucumber and cherry tomatoes and I did actually crave them! However I stuck to my guns. So here, I drank one caffeinated tea again. I ate one piece of wholemeal toast with a can of tuna. I did season the tuna with salt and pepper which I don’t normally do, I would put a sauce on it but I didn’t. 

Tea:

 

Here is my dinner. They told us to eat a deck of cards sized piece of meat (85g) and a cup of green beans. I didn’t have either of these and so I ate 3 slices of ham, 1 slice of pastrami, a lot of lettuce and cucumber which came to about 31 calories which is the amount the green beans would have come to. On top of that I ate:

 

I ate half a banana and an apple. Also I was allowed to eat a whole cup of vanilla ice cream which I substituted for 187g of Greek yogurt with 30g fruit jam which was probably a lot less calories. 

I don’t feel hungry at the moment. I drank nine cups of tea/water throughout the day plus a Vitamin C tablet which was 10 calories.

I did work out my calories just to see how many it was- 964! That’s so so low. I didn’t do any exercise today and I did feel a bit dizzy at times but I just had to drink some water and I was fine!

So that’s the end of day one.

You may wonder what sparked my decision to do this diet. Well. Apparently I weigh 11 stone 0.4 lbs. I cried. I know I have been binging lately but I didn’t deserve to be that weight. Anyway with the wedding approaching it has frightened me into dieting hardcore style.

14 days till the wedding 😱

Hi there guys,

I’m going to be posting more because we have 14 days until the wedding now. 

Today I have eaten 1203 calories which is not bad. I’m getting back on track. Here are some pictures of my meals today.

I also ate a nice dinner of fish fusions, sweet potato and mange tout.

I’m starving right now but I need to keep going. I want to be 9 stone 13lbs for the wedding but there is no way I can lose 11 pounds in two weeks. I can probably lose 4 pounds so that will have to do, I will be 10 stone 6lbs at the wedding which is ok. Better than 11 stone which I as before but we will see what I can do!

Wow I haven’t written on this blog in so so long so I definitely owe you lot an update!

I’m currently 10 stone 9.5lbs and the wedding is 4 weeks away today. I don’t think I’m going to manage to lose enough weight to be 9 stone 13lbs as I’m going to be honest with you I’ve hit a binging wall! Every time I don’t eat very much, I binge so much the next day and eat the calories I otherwise would have lost weight on. So unfair. It got so hard and I just felt like shit so then I concentrated on trying to just eat 1400 but I can only maintain on that amount, it is very hard to lose weight. I think that might be my basal metabolic rate, or around the 1500 mark so what is the point in me trying to lose weight on that? It would take months! No one can weight that long.

I’ve decided that eating 1200 calories is hell on earth, the majority of the time unless I feel ill or extremely bloated?

I don’t really have a recent picture of my body but maybe I’ll take one soon, there’s not much change- maybe a bit of weight loss off my stomach and my legs are more muscular because I’ve been walking so much! I have been walking 10,000-15,000 steps everyday.

Anyway, I will try and post more but I can’t promise it, my degree takes over my life and living with other people makes it harder to find time to be by myself.

Hi everyoneeeee! Third post in three days! I hope you’re all ok! Here are some pictures of what I was eating today:

Breakfast:

One bowl of Original Quakers Oats with a banana and 13g of nutella. 241kcal.

I had an apple before lunch. Here was my lunch of 2 rice crackers, 1 tin of tuna with tar tar sauce, cucumber and a small bit of vegetable soup. 228kcal.

Okay I was bad today and REALLY wanted some christmas cake so…

Day 6 of 2015- 35 Days of 1200 calories

Hello everyone, can you believe it? Two blog posts in one day and now it is a daily update! Just like I used to do!

I wasn’t very hungry this morning which surprised me and so I didn’t eat my usual porridge./home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/d37/73850620/files/2015/01/img_3362.jpgThis was my lunch and it was delicious and healthy as usual, I had an apple in between breakfast and lunch. I had sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, one cooked beetroot and tuna with 10g of tar tar sauce. I then had two rice cakes too at 29kcal each. 284kcal.

After lunch I had a caramel bar, as I have shown you in a previous blog:

caramel-bar 134kcal.

For dinner I had the same as yesterday but plain white rice instead of risotto. I didn’t really want the white rice as I don’t really like it and it makes me bloated but my mum made it so I couldn’t really say no. It came to 473kcal.

Following dinner I had this lovely jelly at 18kcal:

Before bed I was feeling very dizzy and still am, but I know that is just my body burning off more calories than it is taking in and so I must just be dehydrated. I will drink more tomorrow.

My total intake was 1,200 exactly and I’m still on track with my new goal. Day 6 complete!
